My friends and I often go to our local pub to watch the football on a Saturday. However, since the smoking ban came in I have been going to the pub a lot less. Its not that I don`t like going to the pub with my friends, its just that as a smoker I do not like having to go outside to smoke. Our local pub even has a Smoking Shelter but it has no roof and if it is raining you end up getting wet. I would rather watch the football at home, where I don`t have to go outside to the Smoking Shelter to smoke. My friends think I am being unreasonable. Maybe they are right. I could always give up smoking and then the Smoking Shelter would not be an issue and I could enjoy going to the pub with my friends and watching football. If I did quit smoking it would no doubt improve my health and it would save an awful lot of money.
